FTTP

Hi I was wonder if any body can help me. My broadband provider is County broadband and its fibre to the house. My contract has run out and I am thinking of leaving. When I check broadband sites it says we don't have fibre  broadband.so they will not offer any deals. Can anybody help a I am A bit of a luddite.

    County Broadband are I suspect both the network builder and the sole ISP on that network, which means you can only get a service from them over that particular fibre connection.

    As already stated County Broadband are an Alternative Network that don’t have to allow other ISP’s to use their FTTP network so they don’t , until another FTTP network becomes available or CB start offering wholesale access to other ISP’s , then your only choice is mobile or going back to whatever type of broadband you had previously , FTTC or ADSL
