Loganair Flight Cancelled

Hi I'm new here, just looking for advice really.

I travelled from Aberdeen to Manchester recently I was booked on the 10:40 flight to Manchester which was scheduled to arrive at 12:05, Around 10:00am the flight was cancelled and I was told i needed to leave the terminal to collect my luggage and then proceed to the information desk, (bear in mind I had a 6 week old baby and a twelve year old with me)

They then offered me a refund or to be put on the 14:05 flight to Manchester which arrived at 15:35.

so we had a long wait in the airport weren't given any vouchers or anything, I have submitted a claim for compensation under the EU261/CAA Compensation. they have said they will respond within 28days.

would I get the compensation for all three of us? My 6 week old baby is classed as an infant and didn't pay for his ticket (although he was charged air taxes and fees)?

You should have been offered food or vouchers, so if you bought refreshments then submit the receipts.

On the matter of compensation, my understanding is that this isn't available to passengers who didn't pay for a ticket, under article 3(3):

This Regulation shall not apply to passengers travelling free of charge [...]
