British Gas Sunday Peak Saver

Anyone checked how much they have been credited with on BG's Sunday Peak Saver? I have today and have been credited 18p as my saving, implying I used a whole 36p electricity between the hours of 11am and 4 pm. An impossibility?
Would be interested if anyone else had checked this

Are you sure that this is for yesterday...thought they took at least a week to show the credit so could this be for the Sunday before or even two weeks ago (and would that then make more sense of the usage/saving)?0

I was only invited to start them the weekend before last, but have been keeping a tally of my usage over the last two Sunday's in my spreadsheet so I know what to expect. I went to check it against the BG site yesterday to find out that my account has started being transferred to the new system, so god only knows how long it will now take to find out if they are actually applying it correctly. I will keep my records straight though and request a bill when the sessions end in September if the new system isn't sorted and hopefully get it straightened out then.

I was added to this 3 Sundays ago & was credited a whole 5p back onto my bill. The following Sunday credit has yet to appear on my account but I’m not expecting much despite doing my washing & roasting some chicken thighs in the oven within those times.Yesterday, my 3rd sunday, I didn’t bother with it. I’m naturally an early bird & prefer to get my washing in early so it’s got time to dry indoors (torrential rain outside all day) for the next day.0

I haven't checked yet but will. But I am liking the saver. I'm making use of it by doing at least 2 loads of laundry and cooking a roast which I avoid usually as it's an electric oven and so expensive0

The issues with checking the Sunday Peak Saver I find are that a) when they credit the account the date they use is the posting date and not the date of the Sunday of usage and b) they don't show the basis for the credit (eg kWH used during the saving period) just an £ amount. Surely they should provide this info.Because of a), even if you can check your usage during the Peak Save periods using Bright /Loop/etc and hence calculate what you think the saving should be then its hard to cross check. For example I have had 2 amounts credited using same posting date but neither tallies with my calcs of either of the Sundays to which I think they should relate. Luckily we are only talking a couple of bobs worth and I'm grateful for any reduction anyway.1
