I've just had a switch to a Halifax Rewards account completed.

Will the fee be taken this month, even though I will only have had the account for 10 days?

There is no reason at all this wouldn't work. Even switches from BOS are accepted.

A bit late but my switch to the Rewards account completed mid August with the Halifax crediting the bonus to my new account a full two days before the switch completed!
I’m now organising my finances as I’m determined to gain the extra £25 a month bonus that’s available for this month, October and November. This has been my fourth switch so far this year and I must say those cash incentives have proven very beneficial…it is free money after all

Just an update...bonus received from Halifax before switch confirmed complete. So, it works, Lloyds (June) & Halifax (Sept) switch bonuses both received.

Didn’t work for me. Opened and switched a Lloyds account in July. Contacted Halifax yesterday, four days after class completed to be told it was declined due to receiving a bonus since 2020. Could only have been that. Never mind.

I also switched in late August, switch completed on 22 August and we received the £150 that day.

There are no exclusions on debit card spend, either for this or for the ongoing £5 reward for spending £500.

As long as the relevant Halifax Visa Debit functionality is used for the transaction(s), you're good.
