Morning
Hugs to those that want/need them, those who are poorly and those who are looking after a poorly person x
Happy birthday to those with a birthday x
Damp and murky start to the day.
Lunch yesterday was roast chicken, not LO's - except yorkshires, they will be served tonight with sausages, mash, veg and gravy.
Back to work today - we'll see what sort of day we have - bust to start off I should imagine.
Keep safe and well x

Good morning, thanks for starting NMLC.
Hi Abbafan, you seem to have the weather that we had yesterday, it rained all day.. LO means leftovers.
It's a better morning here, hope it lasts.
We weren't out at all yesterday, I did some washing but of course it had to hang up in the house. There's more to do, I'll check the forecast to see if I can get it outside.
I've got an appointment for ear micro suctioning today, that's the only definite! Who knows what else may happen ( nothing probably)
Hope everyone has a good day today whatever you are doing, take care folks.14 -
Morning allDay off work today but still woke up at the same time grrrrrDay off because I'm going to see the Coronation exhibition at Buckingham Palace. We have a timed ticket for noon and have just looked at the weather forecast and it's due to chuck it down with rain around then so hope the queue isn't too long as I'll be having a soggy tour! When will this rain end although the grass in the garden is now green and at least I'm not on holiday anywhere near those wildfires in Greece. Those poor people.Have a good day all and hugs to the poorlies x12

Morning folks.Yesterday was mildly glorious, hot sunny periods with some duller ones too. My washing dried outside and I even sat in the garden for a bit. I spent the majority of the day shuffling finances around trying to maximise interest whilst minimising taxes and closing accounts which held very little. Of course all that boring stuff then had to be put into spreadsheets. 😀
Later on a dog-walking neighbour called in on her way past just as I had poured myself a liberal libation. Once she too had one we spent a lovely hour sorting out the world. Then I made a decision to go back to the aqua-cycling sessions and not do too much to aggravate my knee. It's either that or resign myself to a life of being a total sloth. I don't mind episodes of sloth, just not everyday.I hope that everyone is doing well. Happy Monday to all.13 -
Morning folks and thanks NMLC. The sun is shining here after a wet night but no more rain is on the forecast for today - hallelujah! Of course it's due back tomorrow! DS called up yesterday for a chat. He was here quite a while for a change as it's usually just a flying visit. Busy busy!
Hairdresser coming this morning for a much needed trim. We are a bit overdue this time and it shows. If she is a bit wound up over something then the scissors will be flying whilst she relates the problem and you end up scalped! She goes to DF first who texts me when she is on her way and lets me know if she is scissor happy!
After the hair lottery I have no fixed plans but the weeds have gone rampant through all the wet weather here so I might tackle a few whilst it's dry.. Not much in the way of cooking today as I have some chicken and mushroom sauce left from yesterday to warm up. The leftover new potatoes will get crisped up in the airfryer.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies and getting better. Take care all and be safe xx

Morning All
Lovely and bright this morning, the remaining bedding is in the WM and will hopefully dry outside today. There will be another load to go in once I've had a shower.
Yesterday was great, really enjoyed the Central Station tour - the guide was very amusing and passionate about the lost parts of the station - it's worth doing dp1, we were taken underneath the main station to lost platforms and there's a small museum there too. Banksy was fabulous, didn't realise he had done so much. We ended up the day with a mexican lunch after a wee refreshment. The weather was good thankfully as there was a bit of a wait outside to get into Banksy although we had timed tickets, it rained just as we were walking up from the station.
I have the little one today, we may go to the park as the weather is good, she doesn't ask for much and enjoys playing here. I'll drop her off later for her swimming lesson.
Glad you're going back to your exercise class Gers.
Enjoy the exhibition Chrisca.
Not sure I like the thought of your ear suctioning Scarlet, hope it goes ok.
Have a happy Monday, take care. XX

Morning all- it's dry & we have blue sky after constant heavy rain for 2 days and nights. Izzy I've just picked up a wheel trim on our dog walk - and failed to see the crashed car on the other side of the road. Saw neighbour and he said it hit a tree late last night but the driver got out ok.Sad to see the fires in Rhodes where we went last year for my niece's wedding. I hope RRuby is unaffected.Scarlet hope the syringing works. Glad you're going back to aqua class Gers.Well no school pick ups for the DGC for the next few weeks, although it does mean we don't see DGS every day but he's away today. We had a family meal at the local Italian yesterday afternoon, and he kept us all entertained, especially the waiter
It was a shame DGD couldn't make it, sleepover with a friend. Nice not to have to cook for once. I'm planning chilli for tonight, it's a big pack so there'll be some to freeze too.
I've filled a charity bag and put it out so more stuff gone soon .Glad you enjoyed your Banksy exhibition Camelot & hope Chriscas day out is good too and the rain holds off.TA hope you don't have the scissor happy version today.Hope you all have the best day you can:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Morning all and thanks for the start nmlc x
I have an IV this morning - not sure it's the role for me but will be good experience nonetheless. Will WFH after. DD is going to drop me there as we are due rain. I will get the bus back.
We visited BIL and SIL yesterday. She is doing much better and has more colour in her cheeks. They have a few days away planned which will do her the world of good.
Interesting to hear of the exhibition @camelot1001 - I really want to go back to Glasgow sometime when I'm not carrying a mahoosive rucksack and have the time to appreciate what it has to offer.
Enjoy the Buckingham Palace tour @Chrisca50 - I'm taking DDad next week.
Dinner tonight is Nigella's pork chops and gnocchi. DD's favourite - she's only here tonight then back to Brighton for a final few weeks.
Have a good day everyone,
Coxy

Morning all.
After an unexpectedly sunny day yesterday it's now raining again.
Yesterday we got out for a couple of hours as I needed to check all my geocaches ahead of a forthcoming event. Couldn't find one of them so that has had to be archived. After that we pottered around the house and did a bit of sorting out. I still have one plastic container to sort this morning and then DH can book a tip run to take stuff away. I have a couple of bags for the charity shop so can walk those up this morning.
I have ironing to do and might make a cake later. DGS is here tomorrow so he will tuck into that.
Happy Monday everyone.12
