What do I need to move to Full Fibre Broadband from Virgin Media?

So I want to move from Virgin media to a Full Fibre Broadband provider.
At the moment I have a coax cable coming into the house and hooked up to a virgin superhub.
I don't have any active phone sockets (they were removed and plastered over when we move in)
As I understand it, FFB doesn't use the coax cable. How will it be connected up and will the new broadband provider do the installation or will they expect me to already have something in place?

You need to decide which provider you want for your FTTP service. Once you decide you enter into a contract with them and they will arrange installation of a new fibre connection.
Virgin will send you an envelope to return the Superhub and a termination plug for the network point. Thye won't remove the existing cable.1 -
Great, thanks for the confirmation0

If the original phone line came into the house in ducting from the kerbside pit the installer would use that as the preferred method of running the fibre to the old plastered over hole.
It would be worth investigating the routing of the old line.

Of course, the FTTP connection will require different fittings to either a POTS or the Virgin coax connection, including inside the house.
Running a cable from the road edge to the premises should be quite easy, unless you've got paving in-place; I remember a narrow channel being dug through my front garden at some point.
