Ryanair check-in error

So my flight home is early tomorrow, and I cannot check in. The app simply says “something has gone wrong”. (It was fine for my outward journey.)
I cannot find a way to open Chat within the app: any advice? Or what is the best ‘phone number to use to contact them from Spain?
I have sent a message through Facebook and have been waiting all morning to be connected with an agent.

Following anything else may lead to charges.
Checking in on a computer or browser should typically get the boarding pass to sync to the phone from experience.💙💛 💔0 -

I managed to resolve it in the end, but only after about four hours trying different things, which was not exactly how I had planned to spend my last morning in Spain! The issue was that although I had provided my passport details, I had not separately confirmed that this was the passport I would use for the flight in question! One would expect that this would be the first step in checking in, but apparently not.0
