I learned to travel really light - day bag and rolling backpack when I was traveling. When I went to Hawaii, just carried a wicker purse that was also my suitcase. Then if I ended up in the wrong place, I didn't have to worry about where the rest of the luggage was. There wasn't any. I could travel for up to 5 or 6 weeks this way after all of the traveling I had done - 280,000 air miles in three years alone.

Mine was cleaning my late Mums collection of brasses, she had a brass topped table and it had, what seemed like far too many for me
 I have spent many an hour ,usually around Saturday lunchtime cleaning those blessed things, when I would rather have been out playing with my friends. I grew to hate both the brasses, and the smell of the polish.

Oh my god! Me too! All the jobs! I hate cleaning brass now and won't have any..The smell of brasso and that awful silver stuff is ingrained in my olfactory memory..Also why I hate ironing..18 white canvas overalls every other week, all the shirts, blouses, t shirts, hankies...I blummin well hate it!
