Interestingly that address at the same time was registered as a landscaping company and given they use it for their "click and collect" it cant just be a mailing address. The landscaping company has no shared directors/shareholders and was struck off for failing tofile.
Looking on Royal Mail - the address doesnt exist.
Looking on Streetview - there is no obvious Unit 7a, where there probably would be is a clearly derelict building
They only have a mobile telephone number
They say the contract is governed by UK law (which doesnt exist)
They use a @gmail email address
It may be a UK company, but either they are nieve or there is more going on. We ahve seen others with a UK registered company where all aspects of the company were in China (inc the directors)2 -
That's Gypsabella Ltd. Not Gypsabella Official Ltd which are still active2

I think the companies filing history is a bit of an odd case. To me, this looks like a naive owner who doesn’t know/is negligent to the law. I would remind them of the law, and if they still won’t budge then I’d say attempt a chargeback. I doubt the value would be enough for a S75 claim.Be sure to send them a letter of cancellation, formally, via email, within 14 days of delivery.I agree to DullGreyGuy that the addresses don’t seem clear and the closing and reopening the company on Companies House certainly seems evasive. Not sure if I would necessarily expect everyday people to go though Google Maps to find the address and through Companies House to find that out for a simple online transaction. Nothing on the website is obvious it’s not a UK company, other than the illegal terms.I’d report to Shopify (they operate the e-commerce for the site) of this illegal practice, and then also call Liverpool Trading Standards as all signs support that there is likely some presence in Liverpool.0

Certainly the site isnt as bad as some others which is why I'm in two minds, they havent made the "GMT" timezone error on the phone number that many overseas companies pretending to be in the UK do
A quick search using Google Lens shows many other retailers with the same products for half the price so suppect the negative comments on Trustpilot that they are just reselling Aliexpress finds are probably true... though its not as if big stores dont also have crazy markups on clothes at times so not in itself a major issue0 -
This might be a non-UK company, but I'm not convinced. References to "UK law" could equally be read as a badly informed or wide boy retailer. (Although a wide boy retailer is probably just as bad as a non-uk company as far as the OP is concerned...)
I'd contact them and quote the regulations to them as outlined in my post at 9:29pm yesterday, pointing out that the law does not allow them to exclude sale items from the statutory right of return. The OP's daughter needs to clearly explain to them that she is exercising that statutory right.
I don't think reporting them to Trading Standards will help the OP - and that's assuming they could report them to TS in the first place...1 -
The address your are referring to is for the dissolved company.
Currrent company registered address isSedulo Liverpool 5th Floor Walker House, Exchange Flags, Liverpool, England, L2 3YL
Company number 12470386
Sedulo state they are Corporate Financiers & Advisors0 -
I've now lost track of which company we are discussing.
Is the company the OP's daughter purchased from the "current company", or the dissolved company, or a chinese company or somebody else? Or don't we know...?0 -
