That is absolute bovine excrement. An LoC/LBC has to follow certain protocols and there is absolutely, positively, no way that a CCJ can be "issued" against anyone without "needing" to contact anyone. It sounds like you are still being scammed by a debt collector.Bluez08 said:
Yes mate. I got the last one wrong. This is the one that says unless they hear back from me by 6th of august then a ccj will be issued without needing to contact me. It asks for the response eg am I getting debt advice etc
You need to understand the process for getting a CCJ and it appears that you don't. Show us the LoC/LBC, suitably redacted of personal information. Did the letter contain a bunch of forms (which DO NOT fill in) as per the PAP?

Definitely respond.
Kick the LBC can down the road by a month, by engaging with and dangling the so-called 'legal firm' on the end of a dog-lead, to avoid a claim too soon.
You want a 30 day hold for debt advice.Don't tell them this, but but you'll also need time to digest the DLUHC's detailed draft Impact Assessment and Consultation which is due to be published any week now!I hope the DLUHC Impact Assessment has some telling analysis and wording that Defendants can use.
I will be editing the Template Defence lower section to reflect the new DLUHC position as soon as I see it. I am on the Government Steering Group but have not seen the draft IA of course (neither side has).
But I remain confident that it should reiterate the last position, due to the DLUHC Minister's damning words in Feb 2022 and the robust stuff the DLUHC has heard from the 'good' side. Which I can't go into ... but as you'd imagine, we have always put forward pretty strong opinions and evidence.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It doesn't say a CCJ will be issued. That's a template LBC seen hundreds of times here and our advice (above) is unchanged about how and why to kick the can down the road.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks for the helpAs long as you mean you are replying to the legals (not anyone else) with the magic words 'seeking debt advice' then you'll buy yourself the time you need to stay with us here and learn about the DLUHC's analysis of private parking charges this month.PRIVATE 'PCN'? So, it doesn't say that a "CCJ will be issued" does it? It says that a county court claim will be issued without further notice.
To give you the most time to delay this claim (it will come) you need to send the 30 hold for debt advice on Friday the 4th of August. It will be from this date that you get another 30 days before BWL issues their claim. Hopefully, plenty of time to consider the outcome of the upcoming DLUHC public consultation on the parking scammers.1 -
As said ..... NO CCJ .... this is just low life scare mongering hoping you are a mug
WHAT FOOLS ..... it's not even been to court yet
They wrongly assume they will win and nowadays no legal should be living the clouds as the chance of them winning reduces every day as the courts now understand the scam with one judge recently saying it was an attempt to extort money
NOTE: BW Legal have added a fake/scam amount which is a dreamworld that they never have explained their authority to do so
BWLegal are simply scare mongering to make you pay, so follow what the experienced members on here say
If it does end up in court, they send a "rent by the hour" legal who tend to me clueless ... I have seen it, the guy was OK, clueless and beaten as the claim was dismissed and costs were awarded for the D
These "rent by the hour" bods could be classed as "YES BUT ... NO BUT ... YES BUT"
ALL THIS RUBBISH that you will get a CCJ, is just that ... RUBBISH.
If you lost (doubtful) ... the judge will give XXX number of days to pay. as long as you do THERE IS NO CCJ
What BWLEGAL HAS NOT TOLD YOU ....... when you WIN, you can claim your cosrs, average £95 or more.
Over the years with this forum dealing with BWLEGAL IT IS A SURPRISE that they have not yet grown up1
