I am moving to a new house in an area which does not have Virgin or cable or a BT line. The current owner has Sky satelite.
This is gonna be a whole new world for me and I am not really sure of my options. It currently looks like continue with satelite or 4G/5G?
Is Sky the only satelite internet provider?

Are you sure you don't mean Sky as in Sky TV? The internet doesn't come down that dish, especially not if its a 45cm/60cm dish.If you had satellite internet the dishes are bigger than your normal Sky TV dish. There aren't many providers either, plus its more expensive overall and the latency is quite poor as well. It will probably work out cheaper to get a BT line installed (or go for FTTP if its available) than bounce your internet traffic out to geostationary orbit every time you want to go online...0

Is Starlink available there?
Never used it but know some folks in our village have it and are impressed. I think it may be pricey though.0 -
4g/5g is likely the most viable option - choose the provider with the best signal and a dedicated router - I live in a rural area and this works for me.0
