My wooden chopping board has been through the DW one time too many, the adhesive couldn't win. Now I have had this for maybe 20 years and I can see it won't be long before the other joins go....I don't feel attached to it, but I would like to think it could be repurposed in some way? (Such is the difficulty I have getting rid of things!!). WWYD?

Not particularly, and have lots of chopping boards. I was hoping to avoid it being used as fuel.No man is worth crawling on this earth.

I'd be using it in a craft/DIY space where I might need to be chopping/slicing away at something but didn't want to ruin the surface below. I've done this with the silicone type cutting boards that eventually warp too much to flatten for use. They can be used for cutting matts for framing pictures or used in the greenhouse to help me deal with the compost I inevitably spill.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. I think I'm going to save it for crafting as @Brie helpfully suggested. No man is worth crawling on this earth.

Give it to somebody with a wood burner or bin it.

Wooden chopping boards shouldn't really go in a dish washer. Just give them a wipe with a damp cloth. If you are slicing up fish or meat, use a plastic chopping board that can go in the DW.Rosa_Damascena said:My wooden chopping board has been through the DW one time too many,
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

My thoughts exactly. Wooden items are not suitable for dishwashers, or even soaking in water.FreeBear said:

I do know that - I'd chopped up some spring onions on it which was a silly thing to do (I normally use my marble board for this purpose) and wanted to get it extra clean. Once I'd put it in there once I was so impressed by its newly-found "blondness" its been in there maybe 4 times now?badger09 said:
