Flight Cancellation Refund
Options

Last week I had a e-mail from Ryanair titled "Ryanair Schedule Change"
giving me the options of accepting new times, flight change or refund.
When I checked my flight times the only one had changed was the inbound by just by 5 mins.
Thought it was strange as the rule is 5 hour or over for a refund. As was planning to go deleted it.
Yesterday found out accommodation had been cancelled, so fished e-mail out and applied for a refund.
Thinking how Ryanair are, I totally expected to get a knock-back and would have no complaints.
Today I got a refund e-mail saying it had been processed much to my surprise.
So got wondering if others would have done the same thing (Yes), or knowing that it was an error not claimed (No).

Not sure I'm understanding the scenario you're envisaging here, are you hypothesising about a change of rules or exploiting a loophole within the existing ones? Are you referring to a schedule change or a cancellation?0

Likewise dont understand the question... I presumably still need to fly in your scenario and +/- 5 minutes is unlikely to make any difference at all and so why'd I choose to cancel for a refund?
I guess if things had gone weird and new tickets were cheaper than I'd paid then you might claim the refund and rebook0 -
YesI've updated the poll, hopefully it's clearer now.

No need for a poll here, Ryanair are one of the more flexible airlines out there, in line with the terms and conditions booked.
They are also quite flexible in changing dates once reminded of the 'At the passenger convenience' element of the legislation via livechat, although I've only needed to use this once (the flight was ultimately cancelled on the new booking, but I was trying to swap 7 days for 7 days on a different day that week than their online system would allow).💙💛 💔0
