Loading a Prepaid Card from a USD Account

Options
Hello, peeps.

I have a USD account with a UK bank, and it would be really useful to be able to spend those dollars while travelling in the US without having to translate them into GBP and then back to USD again due to fees and exchange rate variances.

My bank cannot offer a US debit card for that account and I'm not able to open a US bank account at the moment.

Is there any way to do this?

From what I've seen hereabouts - a Chase UK debit card is a good choice for the USA as there are plenty of Chase branches and ATMs - these don't take a usage fee AFAIK with a Chase card.
A very useful facility is their linked Saver account - funds can be transferred via the app in quick time.
The UK 'phone number is 0800-376-3333........customer service is very helpful in my experience
