Amazon deliveries: how to complain?

I am so fed up with Amazon delivery drivers who can't be bothered to ring my doorbell, just leave the parcel on the front doorstep in full view of the road, and mark it as "handed to resident".
Amazon only let you mark the delivery as "great" or "not so great". Some ring the bell and don't wait for you to answer. That's bad enough but it's taking the !!!!!! not to ring the doorbell at all. Drivers like this should be fired.
Any advice on how to complain about this?

Do you have any video evidence, from a video doorbell etc?
I find that when the delivery drivers see a video doorbell they tend to bahave! lol1 -
Go on live chat via the webpage and complain0

You could try adding additional instructions to your address stating not to leave parcels outside of the property. You can select a specific safe place or none and can also add notes yourself

Thanks but there is already a clear instruction to leave parcels behind the wheelie-bin if no answer.seanfos said:You could try adding additional instructions to your address stating not to leave parcels outside of the property. Yes there is an option to select front porch as a specific safe place but you can't specify inside . Some drivers actually put it inside others leave it right outside the porch door so you can't even get out!!seanfos said:You could try adding additional instructions to your address stating not to leave parcels outside of the property. I’ve complained before, but it’s never changed anything. I phoned up to complain that the delivery driver said he’d handed me the parcel in person when he done a dump and run. It never made any difference.
They sympathise, but then don’t seem to do anything tangible to address the issue. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Like paying their delivery drivers enough for them to be expected to do the job properly?elsien said:I’ve complained before, but it’s never changed anything. The only thing that will make Amazon change anything is if people stop using them but they know most people won't and I'm sure they've done the sums on the costs/benefits of improving their delivery service which would either eat into profits or have to be passed on to customers.0 -
And why are you assuming that paying them more will change anything? This is about accountability, not money. Let people get away with doing a bad job and they see no reason not to.tightauldgit said:
