Lyca Mobile - payment date

Hi all.
I'm thinking of purchasing a Lyca Mobile SIM card.

If I was to order the SIM today, does that mean it will automatically charge my card on 12th of every month (with today being 12th Jul)?
Or does it apply from when you activate the SIM?

Ideally I like my bills to come out on the 1st of the month. So if you can't change the payment date, shall I wait to order/activate?

For me it applied each month on the date I activated, but please consider another provider. Lyca are absolutely terrible! If you do have any issues with anything, you'll never speak to anyone to get them resolved.

When I joined lyca you had to enter an activation code to marry up the sim to the plan. Since then they have apparently changed that but your 30 days should start once your sim is in your phone. 30 days isn't exactly a month so your renewal date will get a little earlier over the course of the year (until february).
