I think I remember the post saying 'these aren't changes for the sake of change, they are substantive improvements'. Well it looks like exactly the opposite. As soon as I saw the result I thought nothing about this is improved except it's bigger and bolder.
There's less posts per page, it's less obvious which threads are labelled as new, there's lots of wasted space. It's not better for mobile, it was fine before on mobile.18 -
Subject lines blend in with other text. Harder to run your eyes over it and see what subjects appeal.
