I am a prviately renting tentant and the landlord has put the property on the market for sale. So I'm not able to get a new 12 month contract on my internet contract as I might need to move property mid contract.
Are there any provisions where I can transfer the line to a new property when I move? If the new propperty does not have the service can I cancel the contract? I presume not which is why I didn't renew.
Anyway.
I am on 150mbps connection, that is £22 on a 12 month contract, and then it clearly says off contract the customer pays £24 a month.
I have been off conrtract since last september and they have added on a RPI to the monthly and I now pay £27.60
Why are they going to keep slapping on a RPI every year when the out of contract price is set on their website for £24 a month and obviously that price has alwatys been £22 new customer and then £24 a out of contract since at least 2 years now.
The car insurance industry was known for this, and the EU put a stop on this saying that all customers to be given the same deal, and they can't discriminate between exisiting and new customers.
I feel like I'm being made to pay more purely because I am a privately renting tenant.
click on 12 months, then click on read more on the 150mbps service.
