Thanks for the warning but I learnt how to spell my name at an early age

Doesn't spelling a passenger's name differently from their passport have potential to cause a drama when it comes to checking in at the airport ?Seems a bit steep though.0

Absolutely, it would mean they would be unable to take their flight. In this case it was my Partner who made the booking for both of us and I spotted the typo when I looked at my boarding passes on the Jet2 app. She'd spelled my name "Jonathon" instead of "Jonathan". That one alteration cost her/us dearly.NoodleDoodleMan said:Doesn't spelling a passenger's name differently from their passport have potential to cause a drama when it comes to checking in at the airport ?Seems a bit steep though.
I think a £150 admin fee is outrageous, hence I posted it as a warning to other Forum members.0 -
The £150 only applies to name changes for Jet2 Holidays bookings within 14 days of departure, it's £50 before that or £35 (per leg) for flight-only bookings, so those who check booking confirmations when issued should be able to benefit from the lower rate....
