So far the only real problem I have encountered is that any picture posted appears tiny.

I like the faded when I've looked at the comp but each time I log in the Sort button goes to Hot, not New as I change it to and Filter to All Statuses, not to Open as I last used it

Ever since the new Forum first started, I have had this url, https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/categories/competitions-time?sort=new&competition-status=opened, saved in my browser Bookmarks Bar and I always use this as my starting link to access the forum. As it says, the url brings up the forum in Competitions time with "new" as the Sort and "Open" as the Status.

It looks like pictures are now showing correctly again.

I'm getting this after bookmarking several comps from main competition time page:  each bookmark adds a few more 'new's!

Just tried it and see what you mean and removing the bookmarks adds more. When I refreshed the page though they all disappeared. Hope things aren't going to get all messed up again hate it when they make big changes in one go.

I had hoped you could untick a post that you accidentally ticked like we used to be able to.

I've just been enter TAB etc, and the Quick Links & Categories drop down lists keep popping out each time I go to toggle between pages - really annoying. I've commented on feedback thread, if it bugs anyone else please like and/or comment https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/80169458/#Comment_80169458

I've used adblock plus to hide the links completely. If you use it open it up then choose block element and block them.
