Sometimes my local Post Office would buy stamps back off of me, at a lower value of course. Bear in mind that was years ago. Not sure if they are still able to do it?1

I suspect it was less ‘the post office bought them back’ and more ‘the guy behind the counter in the local PO in the shop’ bought them to make money reselling them in place of officially bought ones.IftiBashir said:Sometimes my local Post Office would buy stamps back off of me, at a lower value of course. That also might explain why there are currently people on the stamp swap threads on here complaining that stamps bought at a PO have been deemed to be fakes, they may unknowingly have been so.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I used them about 8 weeks ago to offload some unwanted booklets. Fast e-mail response to my first enquiry. Sent him a package (using some more unwanted stuff) and got BACS payment in 48 hours.Money_Grabber13579 said:I’ve never used them before but this company advertise regularly in philatelic magazines etc and currently seem to offer to buy barcodes stamps at between 60-65% of face value.I need to think of something new here...0
