Is this your "friend" who decided not to pay her rent?   And who you were going to cut ties with?

It could concern an action to claim the rent arrears.

There is a time limit for response running from receipt of the order.

Your friend sounds like they need advice from a housing expert e.g. CaB or Shelter or a silicy

So it relates to this thread?  https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6419141/friend-been-issued-s8-g8-10-11-17-how-can-she-sort-this-fast/p1  If so, the suggestions made there are that you are really are not the best person to help your friend and she should get the specialist help she needs.

I think you encouraged her to post on the forum herself as a lot was being lost in the retelling.

The claimant is being allowed to amend their claim and it must be served on the defendant by 4pm on Sunday.

It would be better if your friend could post on this forum directly.  The best way for you to help her is likely to be to direct her to where she can get advice direct.
