I have a balance of just under £5k on a Lloyds TSB card, I was just accepted for a Barclaycard yesterday with 0% on balance transfers for 18 months, if I do a balance transfer from my TSB card over to my Barcalycard to clear the TSB balance down completely can I then then pay off something else with the TSB card and then do a balance transfer from the TSB card to the Barclaycard again?

    Yes, as long as you're still within the promotional window and have the available credit.

    As long as you do it within the initial 0% offer window (60 days maybe) it should work.

    I'm assuming that by "pay off something else with the TSB card" you mean you're going to pay for something like your car insurance or buying a sofa or something.  So not a transfer of any sort.

    So as long as the Bcard has a sufficient credit limit for the 2 (or possibly more) transfers it should be fine.  Don't forget that there will be the fee for the transfers added as well.  And (stating the obvious) set up a DD for the Bcard for the minimum at least and don't use it for any purchases while the BTs are on there.

    I wouldn't be so certain on this, BC are known for providing several offers monthly but have also only allowed the use of an offer once per month, which means that after the initial BT from your TSB to BC you may find you won't be able to make another until a new promotion appears.
    Save £12k in 2023 challenge

    Jan = £715 / £1,000 - Feb = £1,275 / £1,000 - Mar = £400 / £1,000  (fallen behind will make up in April)
    Apr = £ May = £ Jun = £
    Jul = £ Aug = £ Sept = £
    Oct = £ Nov = £ Dec = £

    Saved Total = £2,390 / £12,000

    Not sure if this is a new phenomenon but I too have noticed numerical limits on BT lately. They may always have existed but all I remember from old cards are time limits and staying within 95% of the credit limit.
