Hi, I am moving to another town, and I am currently on ESA with Enhanced Disability Premium.

I am told that I won't be able to stay on ESA if I move out of my current area, as it's a "change of circumstances". But they did not know if I would get the same or equivalent Disability Premium that I am on now.

Does anyone know if I would?

Or would I have to start a complete new disability assessment?

Thank you

Is it just a different town, or different council?

Moving house isn't a change of circumstances that will prompt a move to UC. What will prompt a move is either needing to claim for help with your rent for the first time (unless you're living in either supported or temporary housing) or you're moving to a different local Authority.

What group of ESA are you in and is it a single claim?

You haven’t answered the question about which group you are in, WRAG or Support Group?
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.

I don't know which one it is. I am currently trying to find a document that says it. Sorry for the delay.

How do I find out which group I am in?

None of the letters say it. Only the amount.

    I get £149.05 a week.

    Thanks

Yes but will you be needing to claim help for rent?  If not, you shouldn't need to claim UC anyway.
