    Frying pans and fire springs to mind !
    I would have thought Octopus were the ones most likely to be able to sort the metering out.

    Only time will tell.  I have a 14 day cooling off period, so if it starts going Pete Tong, I will cancel and look elsewhere.  No one can be worse than SSE!

    Octopus didn't even get back to me.  I raised the metering issue with them 7 days ago!
  • I'm another very satisfied Octopus customer - I can't  fault them at all.  Excellent customer service too.

    I had hoped to go with them and the root of the problem is likely SSE's administration of my new meter.  However, I can't be bothered to chase a company that doesn't seem to want new business.  I tried to switch online and then contacted them when I couldn't.  They were going to get back to me, but no response.  I would not say that's excellent customer service.  I am sure I am just a one off for me and hope it continues to be good for you.
