If nothing else they can direct you to the right person

The badges aren't that accurate anymore...I don't think anyone takes any notice of them these days...

We have badges?  Really?

I've had a look at my profile and I've got loads. Now what use are they- can I exchange them for cash, goods or services?

Hi - we've moved this across to site feedback. 

Many of the badges are automatic but may not appear immediately when you pass a milestone (eg 100 posts) - sometimes the badge won't be triggered till you next log in.

Other badges are awarded manually by the Forum Team
