looking for a good deal on broadband or dial up

hi, here is a typical question.
I have a BT line and NTL cable. Currently on NTL dial up. Have been happy with the NTL dial up apart from the 2 hour cut-off. Since the price has gone up i am looking for a cheap dial up or broadband.
I normally spend 2-3 hours a day on the net checking emails and downloading pics and movie clips etc. I do not download music of full movies etc. I just wonder how much i will be downloading per month because some BB have capped limits etc.
Can someone advice? Thanks

A 2GB cap should be fine if you're not a heavy downloader (data rather than body mass
)
A lot of providers will just charge you an extra £1.50 - £2.00 per GB if you happen to go over the cap one month - e.g. if you do download a full movie!
Check Martin's broadband providers article for some good deals:

E7even provide an uncapped service - currently a 1M connection is only £10 a month - surely the cheapest deal of all. I have been with them for about 10 months and think they are excellent! You do have to pay for 12 months up front fro this deal though. Check the referrers board to save even more money on this connection !

noticed that NTL are offering a 1Mb service with 3GB monthly limit for £9-99 per month for the first 12 months. Any good?Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems
