Morning all.
I'm heading out for an early morning swim with a friend. She wants to learn how to breathe properly when doing front crawl. It's a cloudy wet morning so it back on with a jumper.
More later. I hope that everyone is well, lovely to read so much yesterday. Happy Tuesday to all.

Morning All,
it is certainly cooler, although I did still have the fan on during the night.
Feeling worn out this morning, Dad had to go to hospital for urgent tests on his kidney function yesterday, so I was needed to sit with mum who is disabled. Had about two hours sleep, but walked home at 5.30am as DH is covering until my sister arrives around 8am. We hope to get away later this morning.
Hopefully, get to hear how dad is doing later on too.
Just got the WM on, and will do a quick DW run for the bits and pieces that need doing before we leave.
Take care all.

Morning everyone enjoy your swim Gers that’s something I’ve never been able to do I have a real fear of water I can’t even watch titanic yet I love the sea love going to the coast but could never go on a boat or a ship I look on with envy at everyone else doing it I always feel I miss out when we go anywhere especially when the kids were little but I made sure they learnt and they are all good swimmers. Topsy sorry to hear you are feeling down you have had a lot to deal with take care of yourself and I hope your son continues to improve . Dogs have been walked it’s a nice morning hopefully it will stay that way the dog I’m looking after for the next couple of weeks is no bother he is a lovely dog but barks at everyone and everything and he has such a deep bark it’s not appreciated at 6 on a morning it seems to echo around the park he’s snoring now that’s loud as well of to work in a minute roll on Friday. The girl I work with brought me a cabbage and a cauliflower and a big bag of good berries out of her allotment yesterday lovely so we are having chicken dinner tonight. Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing12

Great to see everyone's posts yesterday,
Enjoy your holiday on IoW Jackie.
That was scary Ruby, having someone in your garden in the early hours.
Snoozer your lunch sounded wonderful!
Hope your dad is all right Nanny.
Enjoy your lunch out TA.
Floss, hope you'll be ok with the radiotherapy. I tolerated it quite well, it made my boob red for an hour or two after each session, but it was ok.
Your Dad is a treasure DP1!
I know I've missed people, sorry, but it was great to see so many posts.
Take care folks, hope everyone has a good day.14 -

Morning folks and thanks GERS. Hope you enjoy your swim. We actually have blue sky and sun this morning but that dratted wind is still with us taking the edge of the temps. Outside chance of light rain.
I had a lovely meet up with DF yesterday with the food and wine much enjoyed. We haven't met up since late March so there was lots to catch up on. The carvery was quite busy but we were the only ones in the little bar afterwards so able to chat in peace. So what's the highlight of today! The blooming vets this afternoon with Sparkle. She has managed to go a bit longer this time between allergy flare ups, I think it's about 7 weeks since our last visit. No doubt I will have the usual ordeal getting her into the cat carrier. Wish me luck!!
The usual jobs await this morning, both inside and out (weather permitting) if I CBA. Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, getting better or MIA. PEONY thoughts are with you. It's 20 years since I lost my DM and I was her carer for her last 7 years whilst she was suffering with Parkinsons and dementia. Life was hard trying to juggle my time between work, my family and my DM. I hope you manage to get away on your little trip as escaping the stress once in a while is essential.
Take care one and all and be safe xx."If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"12 -

Morning All
Still showery outside, looks like it will be a cool, wet summer. Should really change the bedding but it can wait until tomorrow, the forecast doesn't look as bad as todays.
Little one was a dream yesterday, we had good fun both inside and out when there wasn't any rain. I was trying to teach her to play go fish but it was tough going! Don't have her today but tomorrow and Thursday.
More painting is done, the troublesome door is back on and the bathroom one now adorns the kitchen table. It's much easier to take the doors off even though they are a bit heavy. Need to go out and get more sandpaper today as I filled all the little nail holes with filler and ran out of sandpaper!
Enjoy your swim Gers.
Hugs to you Floss.
Hope you get away and your DD is well Peony.
Good luck with Sparkle TA.
Hope you haven't had any more visitors Ruby.
Friends over the road are away on holiday so I'm taking their DD to and from her summer job, only 5 minutes away so no problems. Their DS is off to the King's Garden Party in Edinburgh today so will see him in his Air Cadet uniform before he goes.
Hope you all have a good day, take care. XX12 -
Good Morning chums , bucketing down here on the IoW at the moment .We have two visitors coming over for a couple of days this morning and my son -in-law was going to do a BBQ so plans may change I think. They are my late husbands cousin and his wife and they are great fun so what ever we do it will be great as I've not seen them for two years.
Hopefully the rain will ease off and we can walk the dogs on the beach later. Just waiting for the magic phone call from New York to say that little GGD Daisy has arrived fingers crossed.
Hope you all have a good day and the sun comes back out for us all

Morning all
Dull and overcast here this morning and rain due later, only two clients coming today as one is off sick, I am going to take them to a local museum and a walk around Chichester Cathedral and a picnic lunch somewhere.
I called the police yesterday as the man opposite looked on his security cameras and saw the chap come in our gate and get down and look under my car, they think he was after the catalytic converter but got scared off by our security light and the light on neighbours camera, I have ordered a new camera for over the cars, and the police have done a report, there is not much hope of catching him but at least it’s logged.
Dinner tonight will be pork belly with rice and some veg for me, dd is on a late shift again so will eat there.
Thinking of you today Floss xx
Have good days all and take care xx13 -
Hi everyone,
Good luck with the treatment Topsy.
Ruby, how disturbing, hopefully he won't be back now he's seen the lights.
I was really quite ill yesterday, temp went over 39 but I felt freezing, I had a hot bottle and was piling the layers on the bed. I feel a bit better today but weak and wobbly. This always seems to happen when I have plans to sort things out when the family are away, it's so annoying.
Not a lot happening here so I'll just say, have a good day.11
