Just had a text to expect a delivery from Fogstar in 1 - 1.5 hours, which is odd, as my battery delivery was scheduled for Wednesday.

Looks like it was the wall mount and possibly cables.

The Fogstar 15.5kWh turned up today. Pretty easy to hook up once I'd marshalled the family to help lift it from its pallet. Unfortunately there weren't many sun hours of the day left and the wife turned on the oven, depleting the shipping charge.
Now to decide what to do with my 2 x 5kWh SunSynk batteries - either try to sell or to connect using a bus bar. Annoyingly they were charged to 100% earlier.Central Beds, 2.02kWp (9 x 225W) south facing with some morning shade, installed 2011 (£7.16/Wp). Considering one of these batteries, currently have 4.7kw solar with a 5KW GROWAT MIN 5000-XE inverter, so will I need a replacement inverter,? how easy is it to force discharge to sell back to grid? (tecnophobe here). Tia

I'm thinking that it'd be nice to have another one.Central Beds, 2.02kWp (9 x 225W) south facing with some morning shade, installed 2011 (£7.16/Wp). The offer runs to the 6th of December.
I'm mulling it over, too, although I haven't taken delivery of my first one, yet! January delivery would suit me quite well, as it happens.0 -
