Letter of Claim

Hi everyone, recieved this letter of claim. This is the first formal letter I received from QDR solicitors, as they have been harassing me via txt and emails before this. For a ticket I dispute, which has escalated to £170, previous letters recieved from zzps were begging letters

. My question is, is this genuine and how do I respond to this. As I've never really received one before. I appreciate any advice on here. £170 is not a small amount.

Treat as genuine, but there are some issues about them being instructed by ZZPS, a debt collector who are strangers to any purported contract between the PPC and the driver. Deal with that if a court claim follows.Respond to it robustly as per advice in the NEWBIES FAQ Announcement, second post, seeking a 30-day hold, as per the PAP, as you are seeking debt advice - use those words. Send your response towards the end of the QDR 30-day deadline, which will give you a further 30 days to prepare yourself for a potential court claim. These are not 30 days to breathe a sigh of relief and forget it, hoping it has gone away. It hasn't, and won't!
No need to complete any of the forms that accompanied the QDR LoC.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Hello and welcome.
That is nothing to worry about.
They claim to have been instructed by ZZPS who nothing more than debt collectors.
The fourth post of the NEWBIES thread explains exactly how to deal with debt collector's letters, but to summarise that post - ignore them.2 -

Sorry I am new to this and I don't know which way to turn. Either to ignore or action this but unsure how.
I have multiple letters from debt collectors which I ignored till QDR started harassing me through txt and emails. And now this one.
Where do I start with the response please. is there a template or something I could use? Abit clueless here.0 -
You need to know that July is an important time for a private parking announcement from the DLUHC that you can use in your court defence, hence why you need to reply NOW.
You must respond to the LBC to kick the can down the road into August, by saying you are seeking debt advice and have been advised to look at the imminent DLUHC Impact Assessment (due July) which will affect the sums claimed.
Let them know you know the score!
Loads of LBCs at the moment; the roboclaim greedy gits are no doubt hoping to get claims and inflated default CCJs secured before the DLUHC hopefully put the nail in the coffin of the false added £60/£70 'fee' add-on.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
