Car Battery Warranty After 1st Replacement Has Failed?

As said to others; charging system is fine as is the resting voltage (12.72 vdc). Its the cranking amperage that is not being delivered and that is how all my previous failures went over the past 35 years (in different vehicles obviously). Diesel engines demand a higher CCA or it dies.0 -

I vaguely recall that a battery on a Maestro I owned back in the 1990s died within a year, but I'm not confident of the details.
More recently I bought a used Octavia, about 2007. The battery failed about 2 weeks after I bought it and the replacement lasted around 2 years. It was replaced with a heavier duty battery that lasted at least 6 years and was still good when it was PXed.
