I put a post on MSE Forum and received many replies. As my problem is solved, shall I close the post? How?

No need - leave it there as it is - someone in the future might have a similar question/problem and it'll likely help them too....

Ah, ok. Don't want anybody to lose their time replying to me. Thanks.0

Put up a post to say 'Thanks for your help - problem solved' or something like that. It might get another reply in the future where someone else has a similar question, but you don't need to reply to them if they do, usually there are plenty of posters to reply to any new questions

As above, someone may find it useful but even so if someone posts on it that’s their issue not yours.
Most threads die a natural death and fall off the first page never to be seen again.1
