Appreciate the assistance from all forum contributors up to this point.
Counting down the days before the hearing, and not feeling particularly confident in my ability to be an advocate in court. Fearing being chewed-up by the opposing solicitor as I have no legal background.
The prep has been to read the defence & w/s a few times. Then hoping the judge will ask me something I have been able to commit to memory.
How are proceedings conducted?

Thanks, the short youtube clip does allay some of the anxiety. Like the actual hearing being held in the chambers rather than an open court.
The hearing is on Tuesday. In the meantime Gladstone have sent through their bundle rather than the discontinuance I was hoping for. That suggests they weren’t deterred by the witness statement they received.
Just read another Gladstone forum thread where they didn’t show for the hearing and hope for the same.

Gladstones never turn up, but that isn't relevant, they just do the paperwork etc, but no actual physical involvement , paperwork and preparing bundles is their everyday jo. The claimant parking company usually send a freelance jobbing advocate to represent them, so always assume that the Claimant will be represented, unless you find out that they haven't1 -
No their WS was on time. They sent a follow-up consolidated bundle of all correspondence in the matter. They seem organised.1
