    Also remember the saying "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me". You have been caught once, so you shouldn't feel bad, your friend should.
    I would bet it has happened to most of us at some time where we trusted people.
    Listen to your girlfriend, and if that friend asks again ask for the money up front. If they say they havent got it reply you havent it either.

  • I don't know how to stop feeling guilty when I make expensive purchases for myself. I grew up in a family where everything has to be shared with friends or brothers. I can't feel good about pampering myself with gadgets or a car right now.
