Buying from Amazon without free trial of Prime.

I went onto Amazon today but couldn't find any way to purchase without accepting a free trial of Amazon Prime.  I even went to a screen which appeared to offer that option but the display at checkout still showed that I would have the free trial.  I don't want Prime and don't need to have a free trial as my wife already has a Prime account which she is about to terminate.

How do I purchase anything without having to accept Prime and then cancel please?

Thanks for the link.  At least it wasn't me going mad and missing something obvious.  I cancelled the order and got the item elsewhere.  Another satisfied Amazon customer - not!
