    I have just called the FSA and they do not fall under them but under SRA Solicitors Regulations Authority, they have provided a number to contact them 0370 6062555 so I will be calling them Open times 8-5

    You need to follow the form's complaints procedure.

    If not happy with result you can escalate to Legal Ombudsman

    What to do if we cannot resolve your complaint:

    If we have not resolved your complaint to your satisfaction within eight weeks, you can refer your complaint to the Legal Ombudsman, who investigate complaints about service issues with law firms, and they will look at your complaint independently.

  • Ok great I’ll call SRA also, I’m definitely reporting them to FCA also as it does come under bad conduct as a company. 
  • Not sure it’s worth following the companies  complaints procedure as it states it may take 8 weeks until you receive a final response!!

    It may be bad conduct, but its's nothing to do with the FCA. The FCA regulates financial businesses, not lawyers.

    IF no money has changed hands then so far they have done nothing wrong. They have advised that there are errors in the contract and are seeking your approval to amend it. IF no money has changed hands then you are free to reject the proposal without penalty.
    Totally different is you have paid them money.

    Ok so spoken to the SRA and they don’t deal with contract issues, we need to raise a complaint with the Legal Ombudsman tel: 0300 5550333, called them also and it’s all online so next step is to raise a complaint with them about PG ! Oh and I’m also waiting for PG to call me today following my negative Trust Pilot review  👊🏼

    No money has changed hands from me, I picked this company over 2 yrs ago due to the % they would take so to receive this email now is just not acceptable after all this time and energy providing them with documents from years ago, I feel they have breached the contract I had with them so want to pursue all avenues 
  • Totally agree with this. I am now not able to speak with another firm as the deadline is now closed for my particular car. I have sent the email to a friend to works for Trading Standards to get his take on it.
