Maternity leave - How much do you save?

Hi all,
I appreciate this is a pretty loose question and it'll obviously depend on a multitude of factors - How much you would regularly earn, your outgoings, how long you want off on maternity, the maternity package offered by your employer etc but I'm hoping someone can help me calculate how much I need to plug the maternity leave gap.

For context I solely pay the mortgage, my partner currently contributes 50% of the bills (£300pm) and 50% of the food shopping. Therefore my outgoing are £1,576pm.
After deductions I receive £2,853pm, which is salaried.

My maternity pay from work will be as follows "for the first four weeks, you will be paid at 100 per cent of salary if eligible. Weeks 5 - 6 are paid at 90 per cent of salary if eligible, and weeks 7 - 18 at 50 per cent of salary plus the standard Statutory Maternity Pay rate of £172.48.  per week. The remaining 21 weeks are paid at the standard Statutory Maternity Pay." Whilst not 100% it's likely I'll take the full 12 months off work.

Can anybody help me calculate how much I will need to save to ensure all Outgoings are covered for a 12 month period, plus a bit of spending money?

How much did you save prior to maternity leave? Any advice?

Can't do the calculation (sorry) but we made sure we had enough in the bank to cover exactly 50% of bills and mortgage as that's how we pay them (50/50).

Statutory mat pay wouldn't have covered anywhere near let alone enable any form of activities with a baby.

As it was Covid hit so spending was greatly reduced.

Knowing we had the money in the bank to cover the bills regardless was a weight off the shoulders
