Solar panel maintenance callers

My solar panels were installed by MyPlanet, who went into liquidation. They published customer records online so I now get callers saying they have taken over maintenance of the panels. Clearly they cannot all have this role, so are any of these legitimate or are they all trying to sell me something? Is there a way to find out?

Solar panels don't need maintenance.  They work or they don't work.  If they work, leave them alone.  If they don't work, then call in another company that does solar to fix them.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.

None are legit. How do you know MyPlanet published their records on line? The company who installed mine 12 years ago are still in business and I get these calls as well. On the odd occasion I have answered a call from these parasites one of the opening lines is that my installer is no longer in business, to which I reply no they haven’t so please go forth and multiply.

My solar panels show up on GoogleMaps so it is not too difficult to find out which addresses have them.

Agreed, anyone cold calling about solar panel maintenance is a ne'er-do-well with designs on your bank balance.
(I'm struggling to think of a time when a cold caller isn't some sort of scam or swindle.)
