Been researching this myself as I have Royal mail shares with Equiniti. Their fees are too high only had holding from the start of like £750.
From my research Iweb is one of the cheapest.

The likes of Freetrade, Trading212 and CMC Invest are cheaper but if you can open an account without paying the £100 opening fee iWeb is a good choice.

Definitely without the £100 fees. When i opened £100 got refunded. Now no charge and it's £5 for trade of shares and funds.

I have old Royal mail shares with Equiniti they want like £45 or so but worth just under £1000.
