Normally I wouldn’t ask but I’m at a loss with how to get rid of a bin and stuck in a tree. Any slight wind and it’s so noisy especially at night. Probably around 12-14 metres up in the tree.Any advice as to how I can get it down? Have thought about fly fishing…… 😆

We had a similar problem a while back with a carrier bag. Fortunately it was from Waitrose and the bag was very thin and it eventually blew away but it did take a couple of months. If you can't reach it easily with a ladder or a rope then I don't think there are many people who will volunteer to climb up and retrieve it...so you are probably stuck with it for a while.1

Tie a string around a small rock and hurl it repeatedly. Set a cordon, and wear a helmet.
Make it a competition - the winner gets bought a pint by the survivors.2 -
Drone with a flame thrower. Probably available on Amazon.

Mr Generous - Landlord for more than 10 years. Generous? - Possibly but sarcastic more likely.2 -
Harpoon or bow & arrow ?
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Great suggestions all - thanks! I’m not sure the dog, although now passed, would enjoy being thrown in their final resting place 😆2006 LBM £28,000+ in debt.
