Vodafone network poor since last week.

Hi
Since last week me and my partners mobile data service has been extremely poor we've been getting speeds of 1-2mbps when usually we get 60-70 mbps.
I checked for network status updates and I could see there were a couple of issues in our area and to be fair the network improves when I'm about 1 to 2 miles away from my home.
Anyway I checked today because its still poor and I can see the network status has improved in my area according to their website but it's still poor in terms of speed so I reported it again.
Is there any way we can get compensation? I'm a sim only pay monthly customer one year into a two-year deal. Partner is also pay monthly. Surely some money should be taken off our bill or something as we're currently forced to pay for a service we're not really receiving any ideas here?

What does the contract say about service disruption, reduction or loss?
No harm in asking them for something, but I suspect reduced speed for a few days won't qualify for automatic compensation.0 -
It has been said before that you have a contract with them for mobile telephony. They don't usually guarantee particular speeds or even any signal at all for a particular location (unlike landline providers). But it is certainly worth letting them know that the issue has not been resolved even if their information says that it has, and that the service is not what you were expecting.0

I doubt you are entitled to anything. I have a sim only contract with Vodafone ( along with broadband and landline) and we have NO signal out of home. We use Wi-Fi calling at home in order to use our mobiles and have to drive to town (38 miles) to get a decent signal.
Unless you have a contract with specific guarantees I don’t think you have any reason for complaint.0 -
Not really to help with your consumer rights but I’ve had this problem with Vodafone. They’re replacing cables in my area and wondered if it was related. I turned off 5g and just went to 4g, worked a treat. After about a week it sorted itself out. Might be worth a try in the meantime0

We did get compensated in the end. Vodafone took off approx £45 from the bills of me and my partner.1
