Momondo price trends

Hi all,

I've booked my accomodation for a week away in Naples in November.
When looking at flights on Momondo it suggests the cheapest time to book them is 3 weeks before I travel.

How has everyone found the accuracy of the price trends?
I'm wary of leaving it and needing to fork out an extra couple of hundred if the prices go up.

General rule of thumb is for typical tourist destinations booking late is cheaper (but not very last min, ie less than a week or 2 before), but for typical business destinations booking early is cheaper.
But prices now seem to be around £30-40 each way in Nov so how much do you expect to save? Maybe they'll be £20 or maybe flights will fill and it'll be £100. If you're already commiitted with the accomodation do you want to risk paying a lot more for a likely saving of £20 or so?
