Yup, definitely has security on my android device as well.Doctor_Who said:

Chip, two counts against it - appears to have no security at all, the app goes straight into the account, and it only links to a single bank.
And some would say linking to one account is more secure than to multiple.
Though I do prefer savings accounts I can connect to multiple current accounts in my own name tbh 😁0 -
My android app lets me access Tandem via fingerprint, unless I've not been on it a while, in which case it's the old "enter mobile number", wait for SMS , then enter code, type access.ToastLady said:
I get a code sent to log in to Tandem. Can't do fingerprint ID at all.Qyburn said:
Tandem - multiple banks, but insists on using fingerprint login which (a) is not brilliant on my tablet and (b) doesn't work at all if you do manual work and scuff your fingers a bit.0 -
Thanks, I've done that. I think the fingerprint function is just not very good on my tablet, it's ok on the iPhone.Doctor_Who said:

Am I missing something? From a pure savings point of view, Chase's rat's doesn't look that great.MrFrugalFever said:
I like Zopa so I still use it for little pots of stuff like Christmas and days out but the big stuff…. I rate chase.0 -
Don't be under the illusion that it will stop someone getting into the app if they have access to your unlocked phone. It can be bypassed very easily. It may as well be left off for convenience as it doesn't provide any additional security over your lockscreen.Doctor_Who said:

My phone is always locked unless I'm using it! Does this apply to all 'in app' security like Zopa/Santander/Chase or just Chip?masonic said:

Chip is the only one I'm aware of that has this issue. Others have security associated with your account rather than something in the app's storage (that can be simply cleared). Zopa, Santander and Chase all do it properly

From a savings point, there are better than Chase for sure. I just find it convenient to put monthly spend into Chase savings, and move to current account as and when I need it. Saves faffing about between different banks and it's truly instant. I'm never going to get rich on what I have in Chase.Qyburn said:

I meant I chase the high rates (wasn’t referring to the bank Chase) apologies.Qyburn said:
