At my wits end with council wet room.

Live in a ground floor HA flat with 3 yo.
Small bathroom has been converted to wet room, but no other adaptions in the property.
This wet room is a disaster, instead of being fitted into a corner of the room it’s slap bang in the middle and the fallout of it is absolutely horrendous. In taking the bath out and rearranging, cupboards for storage have been removed, the plug hole and shower is central in the room, the floor isn’t sloped enough and water is just pooling all over.
It’s getting in small gaps behind the toilet and the sink, it’s rotted and split all skirting boards nothing I do is stopping it. The join where the floor meets the tiling is rotted, there’s damp on my ceiling because the bathroom is constantly wet, I’ve got a water pipe behind the toilet which is black with mold and needs treating twice a week because I can’t get to it with the giant squeegee I bought. The bathroom door is rotten with water constantly pooling.
Had my HA out today to measure for shower doors but the ones they’re putting in are for adaptations. I am not disabled so not a necessity and I don’t want a bathroom that resembles a hospital. The door measurement they’ve taken goes around the slope parallel to the shower curtain and has blocked off 85% of my bathroom. I can’t get to the sink with these doors and imo the bathroom is nowhere near big enough for a wet room facility unless the sink is removed and replaced with one of those small sinks that hang off the wall.
My wet room is that damp and rotting there’s woodlice constantly in there it’s like an infestation. The stop tap is behind the sink also, causing a massive hole in the wall that can’t be covered.
Im repeatedly banging my head against the wall with this issue and it’s at the point where I’m barely using the shower, How am I able to see if I can get the whole wet room removed. It’s caused me nothing but stress and had I known how temperamental it is I would’ve turned down the property. Lived here 3 years.

Why don’t you pay for someone to come and replace what’s being provided? That way you get what you want.2006 LBM £28,000+ in debt.

When you requested conversion to a wet room
* what reason did you give for justifying council tax payers paying for this since you are not disabled with no special needs. Presumably just a personal preference?
* Was there no discussion regarding design? Location, screens etc, impact on cupboards etc? Were you not give drawings showing what would go where?
Seems very strange

Would you be interested in proposing to the HA that you swap property so the wetroom was available (and the problem of!) someone who has a need for it?
But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

Seems very strangeMy reading of this is that this was how the property was when the OP moved into it, they don't require a wet room.In our experience wetrooms don't work on board floors. There's always some degree of flex and the damn things leak.Make £2025 in 2025

As it's a funded adaptation they are unlikely to do anything other than make it work. Unfortunately OP chose to move in with this wet room despite having no need for one. They aren't obliged to change it. They are obliged to keep it in working order and repair it.
If they have been out and proposed shower screens I'd expect them to be half height and keep in the water. This would be an acceptable solution.1 -

Very direct and harsh comments creeping in again.
If it is as bad as you say the HA should make things right. The only thing I can say is just keep banging on to them, keep sending photos and start a complaint. Even find your local MP to get them on board.
Nothing will be done unless you put the effort in.
They may not return the wet room to a normal bathroom however once quoted for as is and normal bathroom they might.
Just keep on them non stop.4
