Plusnet and BT Sport

Plusnet have recently advised that they are discontinuing to support BT Sport as part of their offering from 5th July 2023 (going to become TNT Sport). They are "claiming" because BT Sport is on a 30 day rolling contract you cannot get out of your Plusnet Broadband deal with paying early termination charges ( I have 16 months left of a 24 month deal so possibly approx £160 to pay!!
The primary reason for going with Plusnet broadband was because of BT Sport and I am sure they would have known this was going to happen when I signed up to the deal!
Do I have a leg to stand on if I try to early terminate?

To put it simply no. Broadband would be a separate contract from BT sport & they'd have no bearing on each other
