Parkingeye appeal and 14 day discount

Could anyone offer any advice on the following two questions:
1) If I appeal my fine with Parkingeye, do I lose the 14 day discount?
2) My situation is with the 90 minute free parking at a Lidl store. I did a major shop in there and was stuck in a queue. There was a slight error at the tills with their cashier that held me up, followed by loading the car. Plus I'm disabled. I went 12 minutes over the 90 allowed - worth appealing?

What have Lidl said about this?
Have you asked Lidl to fix this?0 -
The Newbies FAQS sticky thread already tells everyone not to even look at the stupid farce of the '14 day discount' bribe.
It is completely irrelevant. There should be no thinking about paying. No it's not still offered if you lose at POPLA but you won't pay anyway.

Also ParkingEye will cancel it if you appeal online to them, saying what you said in (2) and attaching proof of the big shop and a photo of your Blue Badge.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

There is so much info about this company on here, and online that it is overwhelming to take in. £90 is an awful lot of money to me if I appeal this and it goes against me, hence my hesitation if I don't have a case.0 -

I don't have a clue what to write, what to say, how to frame it. Partly, because I'm thick as mince, and mainly because I have more opiates inside me than a chemist can supply (NHS supplied by the way).
I've equally been told don't appeal it you will lose, don't go to court, they will take your house, don't look at them funny as they will find me, and kill me.

Just appeal to PE stating what happened and send them a copy of your receipt (or cc/bank statement) showing the level of your spend at Lidl that day, and enclose a copy of your Blue Badge. I'd be most surprised if PE didn't immediately cancel the charge.don't go to court, they will take your house, don't look at them funny as they will find me, and kill me.You need to check the opiates you are ingesting, they are giving you a massive misunderstanding of reality. See your GP!Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
