Ryanair boarding pass screen shot

What is the current standing on using a screenshot of a boarding pass. My daughter is flying out on Ryanair Edinburgh/Malaga return. I have purchased her tickets via my ryanair app account, so once I have checked her in 24hours in advance, can I screenshot her boarding pass and WhatsApp it to her for her to use?
TIA

The mobile one shouldn't be a problem, I booked a friend onto a Ryanair flight and she didn't have a Ryanair app, with this being accepted without problem.
The paper boarding pass can't be used in this way.
I tend to screenshot boarding passes (mainly the barcode area) when checking in with any airline just in case the app doesn't work and haven't had to test it yet, but I assume it'll be fine, especially if you make sure she has the whole pass (press the arrow that looks like a down one on Android devices to extend the screenshot)💙💛 💔1 -
Could she download the RyanAir app & log in using your information?1

The only possible issue is your phone being dead or just frozen up, I'd always feel better having a paper backup somewhere.

Note that this method does NOT work with Wizz!
The booking reference should enable her to log in to the Ryanair app and save the boarding pass there. However, printing it in advance might be the simplest solution.2 -
Whatsapp has worked for us fine the last half dozen times we have flown with Ryanair.1

I save my Wizz passes to my Google Wallet, provided the scanner can read the barcode I don't see how or why there would be an issue.0 -

Can you save the boarding pass to Apple or Google Wallet and share it from there.
I did this with passes for EasyJet recently, downloaded both mine and husbands to Apple Wallet then shared his from the Wallet to him.0 -
Just travelled few days ago with Ryanair and had a screen shot boarding pass. It didn't work very well, had to scan it for about 20 times before it actually worked. Security lady was kinda rude to me when i said it was a screen shot. It is a better idea to download a pdf version. Another excellent idea from my side - travel with the train when it is possible. This italiarail customer service is so much better and easier to reach than all those airlines.1

I do it all the time, never had an issue.
Another tip, use it as your lock screen. Saves faffin. Click your phone and it's there immediately.1
