Andy - from other posts I think you confirmed - region as N Wales and Mersey.

The savings v3 vs v2 - which you had posted before - as iirc it exactly matched the SVT for July 1st - roughly 3.3p on both the standing charges - so 6.6p saving - in what is an expensive region (most expensive iirc) - c£24 pa.

    Sound about right ?

Hopefully not big enough to annoy any who did sign on to v2.

Sometimes a bit of certainty is no bad thing.

If prices go down we lose,
Not necessarily Eon have historically allowed those on fixed rates to change to standard tariff without exit fees, screenshot that you posted states exit fees apply if switch supplier..

It does appear that E.ON Next are only offering fixes to those coming off a fix. I believe their fix offer window started 30 days before 1 July.

People who came off a fix prior to 1 June are not being offered a fix. My 2 year fix ended on 30 March, and I have been on their SVR since 31 March.

As with many organisations, loyalty has a limited definition.
I have just been offered E.ON Next - Next Loyalty Fixed v4, despite not currently being on a fix.

I am on electricity only, but the rates for me (East Midlands) are lower than the v3 quoted above.

These are; daily charge 44.28p, unit cost 29.17p / kWh.

This compares well with the SVR from 1 July of 50.31p per day and 29.48p per kWh.

Eon Next really don't want customers do they when they randomly offer fixes to some and not all.

Like their energy DFS shift events it's a lottery.

To be fair, I found the offer by looking on my account online.

It may very well be available to everyone. There is no suggestion that it is a personal offer for me, other than it being called a loyalty rate.

I imagine that this rate will be available to every E.ON Next customer.

I've been offered it too, though I am on a fix which ends in July and was offered the previous ones which I didn't take up. I'm seriously thinking about this one though.

Yes I also now see this an option via my online account despite not currently being on a fix - I am currently on Next Flex (dual fuel) Northern region.

My fix ends tomorrow. I dithered about V2. This morning I just thought I’ll have it. Logged in and had a V4 offer. I’ve taken it as the standing charges are lower and good for peace of mind too.

Lower standing charges and lower unit prices than the standard. Definitely considering just for peace of mind if nothing else

I have also just been offered the v4 having been offered the v3 last week. Seriously tempted to lock in these prices. Slightly more than what is forecast for Q4 2023 but absolutely anything could happen before Q1 2024 which is when our usage is full steam ahead.

With the £700 (and rising) credit currently built up I should be on a very reasonable monthly payment for next Winter which is very welcome.

Also very happy with the annual gas usage of 17,000kwh having been averaging 23-25k in recent years.
