Hello Everyone
My mum has low vision, and owns a 'non smart phone' with no accessibility features. I would like to get her a simple smart phone that has features that would help her - such as being able to dictate her text messages, have text messages read out to her, a reader that reads printed text out loud, the equivalent to Siri but on an android etc (I don't think she'd get on with an i-phone) etc, etc.
I've looked at the RNIB website and they have features on Samsung, Sonia Xperia, and Honor 50, so just wondering if anyone has any experience of any of these, or any  other smart phones for people with low vision?  My mum has never used a smart phone, so I'm looking for something not too complicated or expensive.
Many thanks.

One of my family members have sight problems and I’ve set up a couple of phones for them ensuring that they can use their phone with ease.

I feel the best one to set up and for them to use was Samsung, once in the settings it’s very easy to set up the features you’re looking for.

I can also recommend Sony Xperia mobiles. Again, quite easy to set up what you are looking for.

    No experience with Honor.
