EDF won't pay me promised credit for getting a smart meter installed

    I'm not surprised they are asking for a copy of the email...
    Thanks to help from tech savvy daughter have been able ti retrieve email, and a message saying credit would appear 30 days after meters fitted (actually 60 days) So presumably I will get my promised credit. Going to tell them to shove it as soon as cash is in my account. So a PR disaster for EDF
    Hopefully the email was a 2023 version of the one linked above as that one required installation during last year ?

    EDF pester me non-stop, but no offer of any credit. Latest message said my (never fitted) first generation smart meter was no longer able to communicate with them and I need the latest smart meter. Good job I didn't bother getting the rubbish first generation job then!

    I'm holding out for the £100 now!!

    I got the same text & likewise no mention on the site when I logged in to my account.  The text did say the install had to  be done by 10/12/23 & there were limited appointments.  But I don't have a suitable gap in MY diary at the mo unless they are prepared to install between 6pm & 8am.  LOL!
