Hopefully the email was a 2023 version of the one linked above as that one required installation during last year ?maghater said:
Thanks to help from tech savvy daughter have been able ti retrieve email, and a message saying credit would appear 30 days after meters fitted (actually 60 days) So presumably I will get my promised credit. Going to tell them to shove it as soon as cash is in my account. So a PR disaster for EDFMWT said:Has anyone else heard of EDF, or any other supplier, offering a £100 credit just for installing smart meters?I'm not surprised they are asking for a copy of the email...

EDF pester me non-stop, but no offer of any credit. Latest message said my (never fitted) first generation smart meter was no longer able to communicate with them and I need the latest smart meter. Good job I didn't bother getting the rubbish first generation job then!I'm holding out for the £100 now!!Mr Generous - Landlord for more than 10 years. Generous? - Possibly but sarcastic more likely.1

Just jumping on this as I'm always being pestered and got a text yesterday offering me £100 but I see there is nothing on their site about it0

I got the same text & likewise no mention on the site when I logged in to my account. The text did say the install had to be done by 10/12/23 & there were limited appointments. But I don't have a suitable gap in MY diary at the mo unless they are prepared to install between 6pm & 8am. Yeah dunno whether to trust it. Thinking that I have the proof in the text at least0
